Grand Street welcomes our newest business, Hair by Catherine! Owner, Catherine Como, is a Williamsburg native with an extensive background in hair care and treatment. After working in the hair industry for almost 20 years, she decided to open her own storefront in the neighborhood she was raised in. Upon deciding it was time to open a salon, Catherine was thrilled to find out that the space at 584 Grand was available!
After beauty school, Catherine worked under several stylists before starting her own practice about three years ago. Hair by Catherine has a loyal client base who has followed her throughout her career and comes with glowing reviews of Catherine’s services. She specializes in color, color correction and chemical treatments such as highlights, color for gray coverage and keratin treatments. Committed to healthy hair, her products include organic haircolor and even a non toxic keratin treatment, carrying three different brands of organic hair care in the salon!
Catherine’s clear passion for her craft and dedication to her clients manifests in the care and time she put into her new storefront. She is excited about the location on Grand Street and to build her business as she continues to get the salon up and running.
